Clause negotiation simulation: teams negotiate a mutual indemnity and limitation of liability clause from opposing positions (operator vs. contractor), reaching a commercially balanced agreement.
Apply the FIDIC and NEC standard form contracts to construction and engineering projects.
FIDIC claims exercise: teams identify and assess the validity of three contractor claims under a FIDIC Yellow Book contract, applying the claims procedure and notice requirements.
Manage contracts effectively through execution, change management, and claims avoidance.
Claims analysis: teams assess two competing claims (one by contractor, one by employer) for time and money arising from a project delay scenario, advising on the merits of each.
